Coloured hair is not just for celebrities anymore

By  |

It looks like the trickle-down effect doesn’t only exist in the fashion world: While style trends usually go from the runway to red carpet to high street, in the land of beauty it skips the middleman and goes straight from  celeb ville to the masses. Case in point: rainbow hair dye.

So many celebrities around the world and here in Kampala have been  sporting coloured hair in shades of purple, orange to pink and red in the past. The rest of us who aren’t celebs have been shunning this trend since the pop of colour is a bit raising for someone who is not out for attention.

All that is changing as coloured hair is taking center in the beauty world right now. You can actually wear this hair to work if your hairdo is as calmed down as possible.

Beauty experts emphasize that you must choose only that colour that suits your skin complexion. Some complexions do not go well with coloured or dyed hair at all.
