Doreen Faith’s bold & playful style

Doreen is a Ugandan UK based fashion designer; avid fashion enthusiast and style blogger. She is an alumni of the prestigious London College of Fashion (the college Alek Wek  attended). She was in Kampala back then in December 2012 while launching her fashion label Dare at the  the Nile Diaspora International Film Festival. It was a massive hit and  so she will be returning in December for yet again the 2013 installment of the festival.

I took time to peruse through her style look book on her blog and her style is no far from her fashion designs. Bold and playful. A girl is got to have fun and she really has fun with what she wears.

The pleated blouse and metallic watch exude power. Just the kind of look you would pull off to the office. The wide legged trousers will only suit that woman with a bit of flesh just like Doreen.

Black is timeless. She kept the accessorizing  minimal but carried a gold studded clutch. I love the fact that she designed this dress.

These floral pants are every bit sassy. Simple clean playful style.

Old school chic.. The red shoes are on the extreme as she says on her blog ” I’ve never worn red shoes before, as its not a colour that I usually associate with but it does compliment my skin-tone and I will attempt to wear it more often.”
