The Uganda Music Awards that premiered three months back were held last night at Kampala Serena Hotel. The event, which was not well attended was intended to recognize and celebrate outstanding artistic achievements, technical proficiency, performance excellence and positive contribution to the music industry in the country.
Some of the winners of the evening included Ceaserous, Brian Lubega, Bruno K, Nina Roz and Eddy Kenzo the biggest winner of the evening. The ‘Jubilation’ singer walked away with the ‘Artist of the year’, ‘Song of the year’ for Jubilation and ‘Best male artist of the year’ awards. Sadly he wasn’t present to receive the awards.
Guests were entertained by superbly electric performance from Irene Ntale, Ykee Benda, B2C and more.

Afrie won the Best Afro Fusion artiste award


Dance crew H2C receive the Best Dance crew award from Natasha Sinayobye and Eddie Weezy
