Judithiana on fashion, feminism and Fille

By  |

We had a chat with the bubbly Judithiana. She hosts the popular TV show #SalonTalk on Urban TV and the evening show on Radiocity FM. She shared her thoughts on Bebe Cool and why radio is her first love.

What is the first thing you did this morning when you woke up?
I took a glass of water.

Which is your first love? Radio or TVRadio is my first love. After my form 6, I remember going to XFM. It was called Vision Voice at that time. I was given a trial for a week but I wasn’t good enough.

Who has been your best and worst guest on Salon Talk and why?
For now, my best guest on #SalonTalk has been Fille. To be honest, she surprised me a lot. She was so bold and gave me real. The best part is when she looked straight into the camera to tell the viewer how nice of a man MC Kats is.

Who will be your guest on the show this weekend?
My guest this weekend is former Miss Uganda Salma Nassanga.

If you had to choose a male celebrity to be your co-host on your radio show, who would it be?
I would love to co-host with Bebe Cool. He is so straight up says what’s on his mind regardless of what it might cost him or what you think of him. But I’m sure the show would be suspended as soon as it starts.

How often do you get your hair done in a week?
I get my hair done twice a week.

What in your opinion is the worst hairstyle? Have you ever tried it?
Multi coloured weft hair, especially if the colours are those of the rainbow.  I don’t try anything that isn’t cool.

What are you carrying in your hand bag now?
My phones, keys, hairbrush, wet wipes, wallet, phone chargers, sunglasses, shawl, inhaler, hand lotion, perfume, compact powder and lipstick.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever carried in your bag?
I have carried powdered ginger in my bag before.  I was rushing to the station so I didn’t have chance to make breakfast. I decided to pack my tea spice.

Are you a feminist? What’s your take on feminism?
I’m not a feminist per se but I love the effect it has had on several women. Women have learnt to love and  appreciate themselves hence raising their self-esteem. Women have realized that you don’t need a man by your side to succeed in life. This attitude has given singles mothers urge to fight and raise their children instead of throwing them away.Plus the sound of a female president does put a smile on my face

Heels or flats?
Both heels and flats

Night out with the girls or ‘hours’ in the salon talking about men

Which fashion trend do you want men to drop asap?
The Cabo Snoop style should totally go.
