Man Crush Monday: South African Male Model Sanele Xaba

Allow us to crush on Sanele Xaba, a South African male model.  As the first male model living with albinism and working in South Africa, Mr Xaba is undoubtedly a trail blazer. Whether it be on the runway or editorials, he always has this incredible way of making the photo look larger than life.

Take a look at his stunning images. The Cape Town based model and swimmer has already appeared in magazines such as GQ and Marie Claire, and is seen by many as Africa’s first albino male model. In regards to having albinism, Xaba states: “I made it a point not to label myself as Sanele the albino model. I want to be seen as a model of a different shade not just a model with no pigmentation. I don’t want to be perceived as suffering from a condition or a tragedy or have a pity party for me.” He adds that he wants to pave the way “not just for albino models but for models that are different.” Explore below.
