My Style: Alex Alecool – Day 3

Meet Alex Alecool, a Ugandan fashion designer living and working in the UK. He describes his personal style as “high end with a touch of street style cred”. “My style choices are inspired by art because I’ve an artistic background, ” he says.

As a designer, Alex is inspired by art and the African environment.  “If you look at most of my fashion work, I use a lot of black fabrics and finish with colourful art on the garments. Africa is a black and beautiful continent, ” he shares.
