Style Report: Fall/Winter for the Trendy man

We aren’t really into these seasons here in Kampala. However, you all can agree with me that we get to experience the wet and dry season every  month of every year.  This entails us to embrace all these seasons. This particular one (Fall/Winter ) is what would suit for the wet season. That wet  morning when you have to rush to work is what we are talking about in reality. As a trendy man that you are we feel you  need to know  what is trending..

It is all about Winter coats, Chelsea Salvatore must have Boots (Every elegant man must have a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo shoes in his closet), Trendy man bags and Tailored suits.

The shirt collars which are at times over-sized , very sharp and very chic, as well as the varied mix of winter colours really caught my attention.

Colours like Mahoney, sheer black, grey such as Gun metal and storm, Blue hues such as blue graphite, Maroon. There is also a trend  of leather with fabric as mostly seen on runways around the globe like Versace, Gucci, Armani, Chanel, Valentino, Salvatore Ferragamo, hence making it the next top trend this 2013 to brighten up the overall Black and Grey that took over the fall collections.

Leather is the it thing lately.

You can see the new man wearing refined leather gloves while carrying cases perfectly for fitting today’s Ipad. The man bag has truly taken over the runways around the globe, “Big bag” days are over! The new man is wearing a Clutch!! Scarfs are over-sized and perfectly wrapped around the neck. A scarf like that can give your outfit an instant boost. This trend is perfect for today’s business man who wants to make a statement , classic with a nice touch of Italian Elegance and sophistication!!

The over-sized scarf is very edgy

These clutches are replacing the big man bags. These can carry your Ipad or galaxy tab. Very trendy.

This is not our staple as Kampala men but as fashion forward gentle men we need to pick a leaf here and there. Styling is the core. While you cannot pull off the over sized scarf, you could wrap a normal scarf around your neck on your office look. It is edgy and fashion forward.
