Here is a list of 16 people, Ugandans should watch out for this year. It is not too late to shine some light on these young people who are giving us lashings of fresh blood. This new pool of emerging talent is arguably going to take this year by storm. 2016 is playing favorite for some of them already.

With a TV show, a slew of corporate endorsements and a celebrity status under his belt, MC Talha is already a threat to many people in the entertainment industry. Will he be maturing into a full blown event host and TV star to appeal to a mature audience this year? We are watching closely.

2. Canary Mugume

Red carpet fashion is a huge deal in Kampala lately thanks to this always dapper gentleman, Kabs Haloha. With one question “Who are you wearing?”, his TV show is already airing in Rwanda and Nigeria. Will he finally take his question beyond just Kigali, Kampala and Nigeria? We are watching.

4. Winnie Nwagi
Winnie Nwagi popped out of nowhere last year and ruled the airwaves. Oh no, she actually didn’t just pop from nowhere! She was one of the finalists of Cocacola Rated Next season two. The starlet is not just a pretty face like many of the singers on the scene, and her music is enough evidence. Will she soar as high as her fellow Swangz Avenue singer Irene Ntale?
